the client's interests, nutritional therapy
and the Nutritional Therapist.

Back in the 70’s a group of Christian friends
decided to get together, make flapjacks, pack
up wholefoods from bulk along with some
other healthy goodies, and there began the
beginning of Goodness. We called ourselves
‘The House of Goodness’ in those days of
one Health Food shop.
This one shop grew to a limited company,
and into a chain of 9 Health Food shops.
We called the shops Goodness Foods, and
demand for our flapjacks, packed wholefoods
and healthy eating products grew.
In 1981 we opened a wholesaler called,
you got it - Goodness Foods Wholesale.
World Cancer Research Fund is
Dedicated to preventing cancer.
We do this by:
Funding scientists in the UK and overseas
to carry out research that improves our
understanding about how diet, physical
activity and weight management affect
cancer risk.
Funding education programmes that tell
people in the UK what they can do to
reduce their risk of cancer. By giving
people science-based information, we
give them the chance to make informed
lifestyle choices.
We were the first cancer charity to focus
on the links between diet and cancer and
today we continue to be at the cutting
edge of cancer prevention.
Scientists estimate that about a third of
the most common cancers could be
prevented by eating healthily, being
physically active and maintaining a healthy
weight, which means our cancer
prevention work can save lives.
